Audience Task (Planning)


Emily Bloom is 16 years old. She is an Anglo Portuguese fashionista who lives in Hampstead. She is currently a student and helps out her mum in her art galleries on Saturdays. In the evening, she normally goes to concerts to watch some of her favourite artists. These include the likings of Natasha Bedingfield, Florence and the Machine, La Roux and Pixie Lott. Emily does her food shopping at Sainsbury's which is convenient because it is near her house.  


In her spare time, Emily is on her Blackberry updating her profile on Facebook, shopping and socialising with her friends. On the way to school, she picks up the Metro.  She enjoys keeping up with the latest fashion trends and buys monthly copies of 'Vogue'. Emily travels mainly on the bus and underground. However, she prefers to take the tube if its rush hour because it is faster. Emily is constantly downloading free music and listens to them on her I-pod. 


 
The brands that attract Emily are Topshop, Miss Selfridges and Office because these companies all keep up with forthcoming trends in fashion to keep Emily up to date with the new styles. Also, Starbucks Coffee is a brand that she needs to buy her coffee and meet up with friends for a chat.
Emily buys most of her clothes from H&M, Topshop and Miss Selfridges because their clothes are elegant for young girls to wear and they are very stylish. 


Emily's favourite drink are hot chocolate because it keeps her warm in the winter. Emily being a chocoholic, picks up a hot chocolate on her way to school everyday. She enjoys a chilled bottle of Coke with her in  the summer.




Emily dreams of going to New York to pursue her future fashion career but she'd rather goes back to Lisbon to visit her Grandmother. Though,  her mother is planning to take her to Milan where the fashion  scene is always changing and the exquisite trends are more flamboyant than the London scene. 

Emily enjoys the simple beats that Natasha Bedingfield's sings, which makes her enjoys this song. Also, her best friend and her sing this song together. This pop genre is fun and footloose but it is a bit of a guilty pleasure for Emily. Emily belongs to psychographic profile of being an aspirer because the latest fashions,  magazines, gadgets and lifestyles are extremely important to this suburban teenagerer.
